Stateside Farms, Inc. was founded in 1996 in Rancho Santa Fe, CA. With our grass roots in the Southern California Hunter-Jumper community, Stateside grew quickly and before long we expanded operations to include cross country trips and charters covering all of North America.

Stateside Farms is operated by Husband-and-wife team John and Lisa McAndrews, who together have over 45 years’ worth of experience in the horse transportation industry. Whether it be a local move, a long journey to the other side of the country, or even an international trip, John, Lisa and their team have the knowledge and experience to walk you through every step of the process.

Stateside Farms prides itself on being a medium-sized boutique operation – big enough to handle any job, but small enough that we still maintain a personal touch, custom service and fastidious attention to detail.

We run a meticulously maintained fleet of air-ride tractor-trailer units to serve our clients’ long-haul needs, as well as a string of 2, 4, 6 and 8 horse trailers for local moves and tight spaces. Our drivers are all lifetime horsemen as well as seasoned operators, who always keep the comfort and wellbeing of the horses at the front of their minds.

We go coast-to-coast every one to two weeks, with frequent routes between California and Florida, Texas, Kentucky, The Carolinas, Michigan, Washington, Western Canada and everywhere in between.

If we don’t have an existing route scheduled to meet your needs, we offer the option to charter our trucks so that we can customize your desired route, destination, departure date and time.

We service local California shows as well as tailoring our cross-country routes to line up with show circuits in Wellington (WEF), Ocala (WEC), Lexington, Tryon, Traverse City, Lamplight, Spruce Meadows, Thunderbird and many others.
